MTA-100 6-Position IDC Receptacle, 0.100" Pitch, Tin Plating
The 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch matches the standard MTA-100 header footprint, and the closed-end design prevents the wire from being inserted past the last contact position.
This receptacle accepts 22 AWG discrete or ribbon cable, terminated by insulation displacement. The IDC slot is sized for 22 AWG, and the 80.0µin (2.03µm) tin contact finish is thick enough to survive repeated IDC termination without cracking at the slot edge. The free-hanging, right-angle cable exit routes the wire parallel to the board edge, which saves vertical clearance in shallow enclosures.
When the two halves are pushed together, the ramps snap past each other and lock, preventing accidental unmating under vibration or cable pull. The single-row, 6-position layout is keyed by the closed end, so the cable cannot be inserted backwards.
