Tin-Plated Contacts and IDC Termination
The IDC termination pierces the insulation of 26 AWG wire in one press operation, eliminating wire stripping and crimping. The receptacle accepts both discrete wires and ribbon cable, giving the harness builder flexibility in cable routing.
The right-angle cable exit routes the wire parallel to the board edge, useful in tight enclosures. No secondary retainer is needed — the IDC termination and locking ramp together provide a reliable field connection.
