9-Position IDC Receptacle at 0.156" Pitch — MTA-156 Series
It terminates 22 AWG discrete or ribbon cable via insulation displacement, no stripping required. The 0.156" (3.96mm) pitch matches the standard MTA-156 ribbon cable conductor spacing — pitch has to match the ribbon, or the IDC slots bite between conductors instead of onto them. The red housing carries a closed end and a polarizing key, so the connector seats only one way against the mating header.
IDC Termination — 22 AWG, Tin Contacts, 80.0µin Plating
Tin is cost-effective for high-volume, low-remate applications; if the harness sees repeated disconnect/reconnect in the field, a gold-plated variant would hold up longer. The locking ramp adds vibration resistance once mated.
