0.156" Pitch, 2-Position IDC Receptacle for 18 AWG
The TE Connectivity MTA-156 3-644465-2 is a 2-position receptacle that terminates discrete or ribbon cable via IDC — no crimp tool, just a press. The 0.156" (3.96mm) pitch spaces the contacts wide enough for 18 AWG wire without crowding the insulation. A polarizing key prevents flipping the connector, and the feed-through design lets you daisy-chain multiple receptacles on the same wire run.
This receptacle mates with the MTA-156 header (male pin) of the same 0.156" pitch and 2-position count. No stripping or crimping; the wire is fed through the feed-through slot and the connector is pressed closed.
