6-Position IDC Receptacle for Discrete or Ribbon Cable
Tin Plating at 80.0µin — Cost-Effective for Limited Mating Cycles
That is a heavy tin finish — thicker than a flash — but tin-on-tin interfaces wear with repeated mating. For a harness that mates once during assembly and stays connected, this is the economical choice.
26 AWG IDC — Wire Prep and Tooling
The IDC termination is sized for 26 AWG wire. The connector accepts both discrete wires and ribbon cable, so it covers point-to-point wiring and mass-termination harness builds. A hand press or pneumatic bench tool with the correct MTA-100 die set is required; the tooling is the same across the series.
