It uses a 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch — the standard grid that mates with any 0.100" square-pin header. The closed-end feature blocks the last cavity, preventing mis-insertion of a wire or terminal where none belongs.
Cable termination is IDC (insulation displacement), which means you press the 24 AWG wire into the slot — no stripping, no crimping. That matters when you have a tight lid clearance or a shallow enclosure. Tin is not rated for high-cycle mating or corrosive atmospheres; if the harness will be disconnected and reconnected often, consider a gold-plated sibling in the same MTA-100 family.
