Crimp and wire range
The 31096 is the #6 stud member of TE's Diamond Grip ring terminal line, accepting 16-22 AWG wire with a serrated crimp barrel that bites through oxides on the conductor. Tin-plated copper contact, 0.031" (0.79mm) thick, non-insulated barrel. Free-hanging crimp termination; supplied in bulk.
Stud size across the Diamond Grip series
Within the Diamond Grip series the 31096's #6 stud sits between the #4 of the 31094 and the #8 of the 31397 — the 0.218" (5.54mm) outer width, 0.603" (15.32mm) overall length, and 16-22 AWG wire range are shared across the three. The 31269 also carries a #6 stud but uses a wider 0.281" (7.14mm) pad and longer 0.728" (18.49mm) body — match the stud size and pad footprint to the terminal block land.
