The 34143 is the #4-stud member of TE's Plasti-Grip ring terminal line, accepting 16-22 AWG wire with a crimp termination. Tin-plated copper contact, 0.031" (0.79mm) thickness, red PVC insulation rated for 0.105" to 0.140" (2.67mm to 3.56mm) insulation diameter.
Stud size selection across the Plasti-Grip family
Within the Plasti-Grip 3414 series, the 34143's #4 stud sits between the narrower #4 of the 34141 (0.218" width) and the #6 of the 34144 (0.281" width) — the wire range, plating, and insulation material are shared across the series, so match the stud size to the termination point. The 34148 offers an #8 stud at 0.312" (7.92mm) width for larger bolt holes, while maintaining the same 16-22 AWG wire range and 0.031" thickness.
