Overview
The 34148 is the #8 stud, 16-22 AWG member of TE Connectivity's Plasti-Grip ring terminal line. It carries a tin-plated copper contact with serrated termination and PVC insulation rated for a 0.105" to 0.140" (2.67mm to 3.56mm) insulation diameter.

Within the Plasti-Grip series the 34148 uses a #8 stud and measures 0.856" (21.74mm) long; the 34146 uses a #10 stud and measures 0.809" (20.55mm) long — the wire gauge range, thickness, and insulation diameter are shared across the series, so match the stud size and length to the bus bar and clearance.
