Wire pin terminal for 10-12 AWG
The 342196-1 is a Plasti-Grip wire pin terminal from TE Connectivity AMP Connectors, accepting 10-12 AWG wire with a crimp termination. The tin-plated copper contact is rated for the full wire gauge range, and the yellow PVC insulation covers a wire insulation diameter of 0.150" to 0.252" (3.81 mm to 6.40 mm).
Insulation and termination fit
The serrated termination inside the crimp barrel grips the conductor strands, and the insulation support barrel compresses around the wire jacket over the 0.150" to 0.252" insulation diameter range. Overall length is 1.158" (29.41 mm) with a pin length of 0.390" (9.91 mm) and a circular pin diameter of 0.102" (2.60 mm).
