Solistrand ring terminal for 12-14 AWG
The 34487-2 is a non-insulated ring terminal from TE's Solistrand series, accepting 12-14 AWG wire and fitting a #1/4 stud. The terminal is tin-plated copper with a brazed seam and serrated termination, 0.038" thick, overall length 0.739".
Crimp termination and wire prep
Crimp termination for free-hanging (in-line) mounting — the serrated inner barrel grips the conductor after the wire is stripped to the correct length. The 0.038" material thickness and brazed seam give the barrel enough column strength to survive repeated crimp tool cycles without splitting.
