PIDG ring terminal for 14-16 AWG, 1/2 stud
The 35316 is a PIDG-series ring terminal from TE Connectivity AMP Connectors, accepting 14-16 AWG wire with a 1/2 stud hole. It carries a tin-plated copper contact, a 0.048" (1.22 mm) thick body, and an insulated polyamide (nylon) barrel that accepts wire insulation from 0.150" to 0.250" (3.81 mm to 6.35 mm) diameter. The serrated termination inside the crimp barrel grips the conductor strands for mechanical retention.
Color coding and identification
The 35316 carries a yellow nylon insulation barrel with a black stripe — the yellow identifies the 14-16 AWG wire range, the black stripe signals the 1/2 stud size.
