Construction details
The brazed seam on the barrel provides a continuous metal path, and the serrated inner surface grips the wire strands during crimping for a gas-tight connection. The 0.048" (1.22mm) material thickness and 0.500" (12.70mm) pad width suit heavy-duty applications where the ring must carry the full conductor cross-section without splitting under torque.
