The TE Connectivity 3WWV-04-008 is a 4-circuit barrier terminal block from the #3, Buchanan series, built on a 0.250" (6.35mm) pitch. It's a through-hole mounted block with a 3-wall (tri) barrier that separates each terminal position, reducing the chance of a stray wire or tool bridging adjacent circuits during wiring or maintenance. The bottom termination is wire wrap, which means the solderless connection is made by wrapping stripped wire around the post; this is common in prototyping or in backplane wiring where you want a gas-tight connection without soldering.
Wiring and Power Handling
Rated 10A per circuit at 300V, with an operating temperature up to 120°C. The 10A rating is per-position at the full temperature rise — if you're running all four circuits at 10A, the block's thermoplastic body handles the heat without exceeding its 120°C ceiling. The wire range is 16-30 AWG, so you can land a 16 AWG power feed on one terminal and a 30 AWG sense wire on the next. The terminal screw is steel with a zinc finish; zinc gives enough corrosion resistance for indoor industrial and lab environments without the cost of stainless.
