Board footprint and routing constraints

The slide lock actuator is operated after the FPC is inserted; it does not require a secondary latch.

Mating and FPC preparation

The contacts are on the top side, so the FPC's conductive pads must face upward when inserted. The slide lock is pushed forward to clamp the FPC; it releases by sliding back. For applications requiring frequent reconnection, a thicker gold plating (15 µinch or more) would be preferred.
