13-Position IDC Receptacle for 22 AWG Harnesses
The TE Connectivity MTA-100 4-640440-3 is a 13-position IDC receptacle designed for mass-termination of discrete or ribbon cable.
Termination and Wire Handling
The closed-end housing prevents wire over-insertion, which is a common assembly error with open-ended IDC connectors.
This receptacle mounts free-hanging (in-line) and also supports a right-angle cable exit, which helps route the harness flat against the board edge. No polarizing key is required for this part; the closed-end housing and the header's shroud provide the keying. Mates with any standard MTA-100 unshrouded or shrouded header of the same position count and pitch.
