MTA-100 IDC Receptacle, 12 Circuits, 0.100" Pitch
The white housing carries a closed end, meaning this is the last receptacle in a daisy-chain harness — no pass-through for another connector downstream. This connector accepts discrete or ribbon cable, so it works for both point-to-point wiring and mass-terminated ribbon harnesses.
12 vs 13 Positions — Same Pitch, Same Tooling
The only difference is one extra circuit — the connector body is one position wider. If the BOM calls for 12 circuits, the 4-643814-2 is the match; the 13-position version adds a spare circuit that may or may not be terminated. The same IDC tooling and header family work for both.
