Termination and Wiring — IDC for Speed, 22 AWG Only
The IDC termination punches through the insulation in one stroke, eliminating individual crimp operations. This works with 22 AWG wire only — the slot geometry is sized for that gauge. The wire type can be discrete or ribbon cable, but the insulation diameter must be compatible with the IDC slot.
