Non-insulated crimp splice for 3300-9000 CMA
The 40509 is a non-insulated crimpband splice from TE Connectivity, accepting wire gauges from 3300 to 9000 CMA with a ridged barrel for crimp retention. Termination is by crimp only; the open-band design suits applications where the splice must be visible after installation. Supplied on Tape & Reel or Cut Tape.
Wire-gauge range across the splice family
The 40509 covers 3300-9000 CMA, a mid-range band between the 41459 (800-2600 CMA) and the 61299-3 (7000-12000 CMA). The 485043-2 overlaps the upper end at 4000-9000 CMA with the same ridged, non-insulated form.
