Matching wire gauge and insulation range
The 42751-2 accepts wire insulation diameters from 0.120" to 0.180" (3.05mm to 4.57mm), a wider range than the 140546 (0.098" to 0.138") and the 140787-2 (0.059" to 0.118"), both of which also accept 14-18 AWG and 16-22 AWG respectively. The 640102-1 shares the same 0.030" (0.76mm) thickness and accepts 14-18 AWG but uses a larger insulation diameter range of 0.140" to 0.190".
