The 487576-2 is a 10-position, vertical-mount FFC connector from TE's AMPMODU series. No special tool needed, and the lock holds against vibration in the enclosure.
Through-hole solder termination — board-side reliability
Through-hole mounting with solder termination gives a stronger mechanical bond than SMT for connectors that see cable strain. The 7.87 mm height above board keeps the FPC entry clear of low-profile components underneath. Accepts FFC thickness from 0.10 mm to 0.31 mm — covers the common 0.3 mm flex used in consumer and industrial gear. The straight cable end type means the flex exits vertically, not at an angle.
