Two-Circuit Barrier Block for 20 A Power Distribution
The 4PCV-02-006 is a 2-circuit barrier strip from the Buchanan #4 series, a through-hole terminal block family built for point-to-point power distribution inside control cabinets and junction boxes. The 0.325" (8.26 mm) pitch gives enough clearance between adjacent circuits for the 150 V rating without crowding the wiring trough. Each circuit is rated 20 A, which means this block handles branch-circuit loads like motor starters, solenoid valves, or power supplies — not signal-level wiring.
Wiring and Termination — What Fits
Wire range is 12-22 AWG; the 12 AWG end means this block accepts a solid #12 THHN conductor for a 20 A branch circuit, which is the full rated current of the block. The terminal screw is steel with a zinc finish, which provides adequate corrosion resistance for dry indoor environments but is not rated for outdoor or washdown service.
