AMPMODU MTE 4-Position IDC Plug
The black housing is free-hanging (in-line), designed for wire-to-board harnesses where the IDC termination saves a crimp step.
IDC termination accepts 22-26 AWG discrete wire — the insulation is displaced by the contact slot as the wire is pressed in, eliminating the need for a separate crimp terminal. The latch holder locks the plug into the mating header, providing vibration resistance that a friction-only fit lacks.
The gold layer resists corrosion on the mating interface better than a tin flash would.
