Termination and Cable Prep
IDC termination means no crimp tool or loose terminals — the wire is pressed into the insulation-displacement slot. The receptacle accepts 26-30 AWG discrete wire or ribbon cable. The closed-end feature stops the wire from pushing through the housing, which simplifies assembly in a harness jig. For ribbon cable, the single-row layout aligns directly with standard 0.100" pitch ribbon.
Mating and Compatibility
No other series or pitch is a direct mate; always confirm the header is AMPMODU MTE with a 0.100" pitch and latch feature.
