The TE Connectivity 5-5179010-5 is a 120-position receptacle from the Free Height (FH) series, designed for mezzanine board-to-board stacking. It uses a 0.80 mm pitch in a dual-row layout, with outer shroud contacts that guide the mating plug into alignment. The mated stacking height is fixed at 13 mm, set by the height of the receptacle and its matching plug. Gold plating on the contacts (8.00 µin) handles repeated mating cycles in production or field service without fretting corrosion. The board guide feature on the housing takes shear loads off the signal pins during assembly — without it, the outer rows can open under vibration.
