Board-to-Board Stacking at 0.80 mm Pitch — 140 Positions
The 0.031" (0.80 mm) pitch and dual-row layout give you 140 circuits in a compact footprint — the position count is the full BOM line, not a range. The surface-mount termination suits automated pick-and-place lines, though the tube packaging means you'll need a tube feeder or manual placement for smaller runs.
What the 13 mm Stack Height Means for Your Board Layout
That's a fixed value — the receptacle and its matching plug (same FH series, same 13 mm height) define the z-axis clearance you need between boards. If your enclosure has less than 13 mm of vertical space between board mounting planes, this part won't fit. The 0.80 mm pitch gives you enough routing channel per layer for dense signal traces, but the 140 positions will demand a multilayer board to escape all the vias.
Mating Half and Assembly Notes
This receptacle mates with the Free Height (FH) plug of the same 13 mm stack height and 0.80 mm pitch. The plug is the male half with center strip contacts — order the matching TE part number for the same position count. The board guide on this receptacle aligns with the plug's alignment posts; without both halves having the guide feature, the connector pair may not self-align during blind mating. No contacts or backshell are sold separately — the receptacle is a one-piece SMT component ready for reflow.
