Vertical FFC/FPC connector, 0.100" pitch, 9 positions
The 5-520315-9: It's a through-hole part with kinked pins, meant for a single-sided FFC or FPC cable that mates straight in from above. The contacts are tin-plated phosphor bronze, rated 1 A per circuit. The tin finish keeps cost down, but it limits the connector to about 25 mating cycles — so this is a fit-and-forget part, not something you're cycling repeatedly on a test fixture.
FFC thickness acceptance and board fit
The connector accepts FFC or FPC thickness from 0.13mm to 0.38mm. A common 0.3mm FPC fits right in that window. The housing is black glass-filled polyester, rated UL94 V-0.
