Mezzanine Receptacle for 0.80mm Pitch Board-Stacking
The 0.031" (0.80mm) pitch and dual-row layout keep the board footprint compact while routing 40 signal lines through a single connector body. Surface-mount termination suits automated pick-and-place assembly, and the integrated board guide aligns the receptacle during reflow to prevent tombstoning. The 0.463" (11.75mm) height above board sets the z-axis clearance for the mezzanine gap, while the mated stacking heights of 13mm, 14mm, 15mm, and 16mm give the board layout engineer four options for the daughtercard standoff using the same receptacle.
The 5084616-1 at 40 positions is the entry point in this height variant of the Free Height (FH) series. For higher I/O density, the 5084616-2 carries 60 positions, the 5084616-4 carries 100 positions, and the 5084616-5 carries 120 positions — all at the same 0.031" (0.80mm) pitch, same 0.463" (11.75mm) height above board, same gold plating thickness, and same surface-mount footprint.
