0.80 mm Pitch Mezzanine Receptacle, 100 Positions, 13–16 mm Stack Heights
The TE Connectivity 5084616-4 is a 100-position receptacle from the Free Height (FH) series, designed for board-to-board mezzanine stacking. At a 0.031" (0.80 mm) pitch in two rows, it packs enough signal density for a mid-complexity backplane or a processor-to-carrier interconnect. The outer shroud contacts protect the mating interface during board alignment, and the board guide feature helps take the shear off the signal pins when the stack is pressed together. The mated stack height is selectable across 13 mm, 14 mm, 15 mm, or 16 mm, which gives the board designer flexibility in component clearance on the underside of the top board. The 0.80 mm pitch keeps the footprint compact — expect tight routing between pads, so a controlled-impedance stack-up needs careful trace necking.
