IDC Plug for 0.100" Ribbon Cable, 10 Circuits
The TE Connectivity AMP-Latch 5111448-1 is a 10-position IDC plug built for 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch ribbon cable. It terminates 26-28 AWG round-conductor ribbon cable directly through the insulation displacement contacts, eliminating strip-and-crimp steps in the harness build.
Feed-Through Panel Mount and Housing
The housing includes a feed-through feature and is designed for panel mounting, which means the connector can pass through a panel cutout and be secured on the far side. This is useful when the ribbon cable exits an enclosure or sub-assembly and the connector needs mechanical retention separate from the header latch. The black housing is the standard colour for this series.
