The 4.60 mm above-board height keeps the plug profile low, fitting within slim enclosures when mated to a low-height receptacle.
SMT Termination and Board-Guide Alignment
Surface-mount termination matches standard reflow soldering processes — the plug side requires no secondary hand-soldering step. An integral board guide on the plug body takes shear forces off the signal contacts during blind-mate assembly, a practical reliability feature for production lines where the mezzanine boards are stacked without visual alignment.
