Board-Stacking Connector for Dense Mezzanine Designs
It uses a 0.80 mm pitch with two rows of gold-plated center strip contacts, a fine enough spacing to keep the board footprint compact when routing 100 signal lines between parallel PCBs. The surface-mount termination and integrated board guide help the connector self-align during reflow soldering — on a part this dense, even slight misalignment during placement can open joints on the outer rows.
Stack Height Range and Mating Half
This plug supports four mated stacking heights: 7 mm, 11 mm, 15 mm, and 19 mm. The range comes from the FH series' modular design — the same plug works with the mating Free Height receptacle at different board spacings, so one BOM position can cover multiple assembly heights. The mating half is a Free Height (FH) receptacle with matching 0.80 mm pitch and center strip contacts.
Gold plating at 8.00 µin thickness covers the mating surfaces. This is a standard flash finish suited for moderate mating cycles — typical for production board assemblies that mate once during build and rarely see field disconnect. For applications requiring frequent reconnections, a thicker gold deposit would be preferred, but that is not what this variant carries.
