22 AWG ring lug for a #6 stud
The 51863-2 is a PIDG-series ring terminal from TE Connectivity, sized for 22 AWG wire and a #6 stud — a common fit for barrier-strip and terminal-block connections where a ring lug under the screw is the standard. Tin-plated copper contact, 0.031" (0.79mm) thick, with an insulated polyamide barrel that accepts wire insulation from 0.038" to 0.110" (0.97mm to 2.79mm).
Same gauge, different stud size
Within the PIDG family, the 51863-2 (#6 stud) sits alongside the 2-36153-3 (#10 stud) — both use 22 AWG, share the same 0.031" (0.79mm) thickness and tin plating, but the #10 version has a wider outer edge (0.312" vs 0.250") and a longer overall length (0.909" vs 0.844").
