15-Pin D-Sub Plug in the AMPLIMITE HDP-20 Line
It carries a 6A per-contact current rating at 125V, with the steel shell using a yellow chromate zinc finish for corrosion resistance and EMI containment. Gold flash on the brass contacts handles moderate insertion cycles without corrosion, but the thin plating won't support the high-mating-cycle life of a thicker gold deposit.
This plug terminates through-hole with solder contacts — a standard vertical mount that drops into a PCB layout for the DA (2-row, 15-position) shell size. The flange is unthreaded, meaning there are no integrated jackscrews; for panel-mount applications you'll need separate hardware (male screwlocks or a slide-lock kit) to secure the mating pair. The black polyamide housing and steel shell accept standard D-sub backshells that fit the DA footprint, giving you a range of strain-relief and cable-exit options.
