D-sub Jackscrew for AMPLIMITE Connectors
The TE Connectivity AMPLIMITE 5206052-3 is a slotted jackscrew for securing D-sub connectors to a panel or PCB. It carries a 4-40 thread — the standard UNC size for D-sub mounting hardware — and is intended for use with AMPLIMITE series D-sub connectors. The slotted head allows engagement with a flat-blade screwdriver during assembly or field service.
Dimensions and Fit
Total length below the head is 0.437" (11.10 mm), with the threaded portion extending 0.219" (5.56 mm) below the head. This gives enough thread engagement for standard D-sub panel thicknesses and mating hardware — the unthreaded shank above the threads provides clearance through the connector flange before the threads engage the mating nut or standoff.
Compatibility and Use
This jackscrew is listed for use with AMPLIMITE series D-sub connectors. It replaces or supplements the jackscrews that ship with many AMPLIMITE hoods and backshells. The 4-40 thread mates with standard D-sub hex nuts, standoffs, and threaded inserts found on panel-mount receptacles. It does not include the mating nut or washer — order those separately if your assembly requires them.
