The 52189: The tin-plated copper contact is 0.027" (0.69mm) thick with a serrated barrel that grips the conductor on crimp. The nylon insulation covers an insulation diameter range of 0.050" to 0.105" (1.27mm to 2.67mm).
Stud size and wire gauge across the PIDG line
The 52189 uses a #4 stud and 24-26 AWG wire. The PIDG series includes the 52273 (22 AWG, #4 stud, red/green stripe), the 54311-1 (24-26 AWG, #8 stud, yellow), and the 53055 (24 AWG, #6 stud, yellow/blue stripe). The 52189's 0.203" (5.16mm) outer width is narrower than the 0.218" (5.54mm) of the 52273 and the 0.250" (6.35mm) of the 53055.
