The 4 GHz ceiling is typical for a commercial BNC; above that, the interface geometry starts to mode, and you'd step up to an SMA or N-type. The 500 mating cycles are a solid figure for a panel jack that gets reconnected a few times a week over years — tin-plated centre contacts will show wear sooner than gold, but at this cycle count it's acceptable for most lab or production-floor duty. The panel mount with a front-side nut means the jack is secured from the outside of the chassis, and the solder termination requires hand or wave soldering to the PCB traces — no press-fit here.
