Board layout: through-hole, right-angle, EMI finger
The right-angle orientation and tab-down direction mean the cable exits downward relative to the PCB edge — verify the board edge clearance and panel cutout before layout. The EMI finger contacts the panel or chassis ground, so the PCB ground plane must connect to the shield pins for the finger to work.
