What's in the Kit — and What It Mates With
The end cap and ferrule are the crimp components that secure the cable braid and jacket — you don't need to order them separately. The plug mates with any standard SMB jack (female socket to male pin interface) and uses a snap-on coupling.
Cable Fit and RF Performance
The 5414363-5 is specified for RG-174, RG-188, and RG-316 cable groups. These are 50 Ohm coax types with similar outer diameters (around 0.110 inch) — the ferrule and centre-contact solder cup are sized for that range. The 0.6 dB insertion loss is a typical figure at the rated 3 GHz top end; at lower frequencies the loss will be lower.
