IDC Plug for Ribbon Cable Harnesses
Termination is IDC — the ribbon cable is pressed onto the insulation-displacement contacts in one pass, no wire stripping or individual crimping. The plug mates with the matching CHAMP.085 receptacle (the receptacle side carries the same center strip contact layout). The bail lock snaps over the receptacle shell to hold the pair together; on a test rack or a backplane harness that sees occasional disconnect, that latch keeps the connection from walking loose.
