Right-Angle Shielded Modular Jack for PCB Mount
It accepts standard RJ11, RJ12, RJ14, and RJ25 plugs — the 6p6c wiring covers the full set of conductors those connectors carry. Board locks and panel stops provide mechanical retention to the PCB and panel cutout, respectively.
6P6C Pinout and Compatibility
The 6p6C designation means all six contact positions are populated with conductors. This makes the jack compatible with 6P4C and 6P2C plugs — those plugs simply leave the outer two or four conductors unconnected.
Shielding and Mechanical Retention
The integrated shield with EMI finger provides a low-impedance path from the jack shell to the chassis ground on the PCB, reducing radiated emissions and improving immunity in electrically noisy environments. The board locks — two metal tabs that solder into plated through-holes — anchor the jack against the insertion and withdrawal forces of the mating plug. Panel stops on the housing set the insertion depth into the panel cutout, so the jack face sits flush with the panel for a clean front-panel appearance.
Contact Plating and Environmental Range
This is the plating grade you want for field-serviceable equipment where the jack sees regular plug insertions, or for environments with moderate humidity or corrosive atmospheres.
