RJ45 Jack with EMI Shielding and Board Lock
The TE Connectivity 5557730-1 is a vertical through-hole modular jack with an 8P8C (RJ45) contact arrangement, designed for Ethernet and other 8-wire data interfaces. It sits in the 5557730 series of shielded jacks, carrying the 8p8c pinout that matches standard Cat3-rated cabling. The jack is shielded, with an integrated EMI finger that grounds the shell to the panel face, reducing radiated emissions from the cable exit.
This jack mounts vertically through the PCB with through-hole solder terminations. Panel stops set the seating depth against the chassis cutout, and the keyed housing prevents insertion of a non-compatible plug.
