RJ50 Jack, Right-Angle, Shielded
The TE Connectivity 5558070-1 is a 10P10C modular jack — the RJ50 keying variant, not the more common 8P8C RJ45. It carries 10 positions and 10 contacts in a single row, terminated by through-hole solder tails to the PCB. The right-angle (90°) orientation routes the mated cable parallel to the board, keeping the connector low-profile at the board edge.
Shielding and EMI Finger
The jack is fully shielded with an EMI finger that contacts the panel cutout when the connector is mounted.
Through-hole solder termination with the tab facing down. A board guide feature on the housing helps align the jack during wave-solder assembly. The single-port, single-row layout means the footprint is compact. Supplied in tray packaging.
