The TE Connectivity 5650090-1 is a 112-position female edge connector from the Standard Edge.050 series, designed for a dual-readout interface with a 0.062" (1.57mm) thick PCB card. The 0.050" (1.27mm) pitch is the tightest common edge-card spacing — it packs 112 contacts into a board-edge footprint that would hold half that many at 0.100" pitch. That density makes this connector a fit for wide parallel buses, backplane mezzanine links, or any application where a lot of I/O has to exit a single card edge without eating up board real estate. The dual-row readout (two rows of contacts straddling the card edge) doubles the contact count per linear inch of board edge compared to a single-row design.
The through-hole termination is staggered — the pins are offset in two rows so the solder tails don't line up in a single row. That reduces the insertion force when pressing the connector into the board and gives the PCB designer room to route traces between the staggered pads. That covers most indoor industrial and telecom gear; if your enclosure sees sustained heat above 85°C at the card edge, you'll need to check the derating on the contact current.
