9-Position D-Sub Receptacle for Standard-Density Signal Interconnects
This vertical through-hole solder version mates with any standard DB-9 male plug, making it a direct drop-in for legacy DB-9 footprints. The shell layout is 1 (DE, E), which is the standard DE-9 shell size for 9-position D-Subs. Rated at 6 A per contact and 125 V, this receptacle carries more current than typical signal-only D-Subs — the 6 A rating means it can handle mixed power and signal on the same connector without derating for the signal lines. The gold-plated phosphor bronze contacts give reliable low-level switching and corrosion resistance for environments with moderate humidity or temperature cycling.
Through-hole solder termination with a vertical orientation — the pins align to a standard DE-9 PCB footprint with 0.090-inch row spacing. The unthreaded housing flange accepts standard DB-9 backshells and hoods that use 4-40 screwlocks; no tapped holes in the shell, so the screws pass through and thread into the mating plug or a bracket.
