The TE Connectivity 5745647-1 is a slotted jackscrew for AMPLIMITE HDE and HDP series D-sub connectors. It carries a 4-40 thread — the standard UNC size for D-sub hardware — and includes an integral clip that retains the screw in the connector shell so it doesn't fall out during handling or mating. This is the male-side jackscrew, used on the plug half to engage the mating female screwlock or standoff on the receptacle.
Rated for use with AMPLIMITE HDE and HDP series D-sub connectors. The 4-40 thread mates with standard D-sub screwlocks, standoffs, and hex nuts. The 0.220-inch length below the head is the thread engagement depth — enough to reach through the shell and engage the mating hardware on standard-density D-subs without bottoming out.
