15-Position Right-Angle D-Sub for Board-Edge I/O
It carries gold-plated brass contacts rated 6A per circuit at 125V, with the contact finish supporting repeated mating cycles in field-serviceable equipment. The steel shell with tin plating and grounding indents provides a continuous shield path to the PCB ground plane, and the integrated ground strap gives a low-impedance bond for EMI-sensitive I/O runs. The 0.318" (8.08mm) backset spacing clears the rear of the connector for cable exit in tight enclosures.
Gold Contacts and Grounding for Signal Integrity
The 125V voltage rating is the line-to-ground limit for signal-level circuits; the 6A per-contact rating is the thermal limit at 25°C ambient, with derating above that temperature per the product drawing.
The 4-40 female screwlock on the mating side accepts the jack-screws from the receptacle side; hand-tight should seal it for EMI, but a screwdriver snug is better for vibration.
