9-Position Right-Angle D-Sub Plug with Grounding
Gold-plated brass contacts handle signal-level duty at 6A per circuit, with a 125V voltage rating. The steel shell carries tin plating and includes a ground strap plus grounding indents on the mating face — these bleed shield current to the chassis before the signal pins engage, reducing EMI coupling in data or control interfaces.
The flange feature uses female screwlocks (4-40) on the mating side, accepting standard D-sub hardware for panel or mating connector retention.
Grounding and Shielding
The ground strap and grounding indents are factory-integrated features — not field-added options. The indents on the shell mate with the receptacle face to establish shield continuity before the signal contacts touch, a detail that matters for control cabinets or test equipment where conducted emissions need a low-impedance path to earth.
