25-Position Right-Angle D-Sub with Board Lock
The TE Connectivity AMPLIMITE HD-20 5747846-6 is a 25-position D-Sub receptacle with female sockets arranged in two rows. The 30.0µin gold-over-phosphor-bronze contacts handle 6A per circuit at 125V, with the gold thickness supporting repeated mating cycles in field-service environments. A board lock and integrated ground strap secure the connector during solder and bleed shield current before the signal pins engage.
Termination is through-hole solder — the right-angle pins exit the rear of the connector and sit 0.318" (8.08mm) from the board edge to the connector face. The flange carries a mating-side female screwlock with 4-40 threads, matching the standard DB-25 male plug. The board lock holds the connector in place during wave or hand solder, preventing float that could misalign the pins. The steel shell with tin plating provides EMI shielding when mated.
