The TE Connectivity AMPMODU MT 6-102448-8 is a 40-position IDC receptacle designed for mass-termination of 20-22 AWG discrete or ribbon cable. It uses a 0.100" (2.54 mm) pitch in a 2-row layout, with female socket contacts plated in 30.0 µ" (0.76 µm) gold — a plating thickness that supports repeated mating cycles in field-service or test-fixture applications. The closed-end housing prevents over-insertion of the cable, and the free-hanging (in-line) mount lets it terminate a harness without a PCB footprint.
